YYhat will doubtless prove an interesting match will take place between the above players in Mr Geo. Lipsey-'e paddock on Saturday afternoon next, kick-off at 3 o’clock. The following players have been selected to do duty for City:—A. Lipsey (capt), Evitfc, Flatt, Eoss, Salmon, Bell, Pickett, Pavitt, Kenealhy Po 1 and, Biggs, McCord,- Saunders, Lawn, Cook, Dausey, Bastable, Eussell. Suburbs : Buchan, Boride, Tattersall, Mikkelsen, Strange (2). Cornos, Hemphill, Kennick, D Li, urie;. Williamson, Jennin gs, Mick, Nghura, Eotorua,' Bradley, T. Cornes, Hamilton, Trimmings. ' ;

A practice will be take place this afternoon in Lipsey’s paddock, .when it is hoped that every man will try to put in an appearance. . - .

A match will be p'ayed on Saturday next at Paeroa between Karangahake Paeroa. -•%fc is rumoured that a match will be played shortly, which should create a good deal of interest, viz., Married v. Single. - ?

Word has been received from the Secretary of the Rotorua Club inviting “.our boys” to a friendly game at Eotorua. But the distance being so great, .1 fear that there is little hope of a match eventuating, unless arrangements could be made to play the game half-way, say at Okerorie or at Morrinsville, and I understand that “our boys ” would be eager for the - fray. A meeting of the Committee’of the Te Aroha P.C. is called for Saturday evening next, at 7.30 o’clock, to discuss matters of interest to the Club.
