Wellington, May 21,1898, «His ’ Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Percy Snewin to be ; Town Clerk of the Borough of Te Aroha as constituted under the : Mun Cop. Act.-1886, and also Returning Officer for the pnrpose of conducting the First Election of Mayor and (Councillors of the said Borough, also to fix that the number of Councillors of the said Borough shall be six, also to appoint Tuesday, sth July, 1898 j to • be the day for holding the first election of Mayor, also to appoint Saturday. • 9th July, lß9l, to be the day for holding the first elec»iou of six Councillors, J also to appoint Wednesday, 13th July, at 7.30 p m , to be the time and the Town Board Office, .Te “Aroha, to be the placa at which the first- meeting of the Borough Council of- Te* Aroha shall be held. . / ; -/ . • ■•• : • W.
