Football Notes .
[by drop-kick.] Rumour has it that three or four football enthusiasts are. endeavouring to muster a team from Waiorongomai, Te Aroha West and Waihou, and at my request the following names were to-day handed in to me as seme of the likely players. Beginning with Wair orongomai, we have such worthy as Messrs Jennings, Laurie, ; Rennick and Smith, and some more whose names I could not ascertain. Waihou .can supply, such sterling players as Messrs Cousins, Buchan, Borrie and others, and Te . Ar°h a West can come nearly, level with the two cithers, for from there hail such good reliable players as Strange Bros, Mickelsen. (2), J. Cornes, Forrest and Timmins. Should the Club be formed no doubt the'chosen'-fifteen would oc casidhally meet the Te Aroha players (propor) and mahy interesting matches would be the result. This arrangement need 'not : detract .strength from the ! Te* Ar-.hh Cteanii >for the fifteen " .host ,of the two Clubs could at .all timfcjs be choseo- to represent Te Aroha agaiist, oiutsideiteam. - ;'• j-
