The Assessment Court , Te Aroha.
A numbicr of people have asked us when this Court is to sit, a id we were obliged to confess we did not know On the memoranda from the "Valuation Department the following appears, namely,: ‘ Public notice will be given by advertisement in the local newspapers of tho time aud place of sitting of Assessment Court.’ To the. best of our knowledge and belief 4 no such notice has appeared in any paper circulating in this district. Mr A. Bremner, the Waitoa Road Board Clerk, seems to have experienced a similar difficulty and appealed, in consequence, to a Hamilton contemporary. As a result he elicited, inter alia; the following information : ‘The Court (in question) will eit for the Piako County at Te Aroha on Friday, 13th.
