Masonic Installation at Cambridge.

On Wednesday evening the installation of Bro A. Bach as Worshipful Master of Lodge Alpha, No. 81, was conducted at the Lodge room (Oddfellow’s Hall) by Right Wor Bro A G Bartlett, Grand Superintendent. There was a good attendance of the members and visitors from Lodge Beta - Waikato, No 12, Hamilton, Pirongia and Te Aroha. /. The work was taken by the Grand Superintend- , ent, and Bro A Bach was duly installed in the chair of King Solomon. Bro Bartlett also addressed the newly installed master. The investiture of the other officers was then proceeded with as follows : J W, Bro Jas Black ; treasurer, Bro G Hally ; secretary, Wor Bro R C Dyer; PM; 88, Bro J Fergu-on; J I), Bro M Roberts; IG, Bro Mahood; tyler,. Bro Jas Masters. The- senior-warden designate, Wor Bro J S Bond, P_ M, was unfortunately unable to attend. -The tools in the respective degrees were delivered by Wor Bros Boyce, Dyer and Mears, PM’s. Wor Bro Barlett addressed the warden, and Wor Bro Boyce the brethren. The W M was congratulated by a number of visiting brethren, and many who were unable to attend sent apologies- ,The ceremony was choral throughout, Wor Bro T Hartly, PM, presiding at the harmonium, and Wor Bro W Dey, PM, P S G D, acted as D of G.
