The attention of readers in the rural districts is directed to a stolen or strayed advertisement.
As will be seen from their-adver-tisement the Tb Aroha Literary and Recreation' Society will be opened tomorrow night in- the Sbci'ety’s rooms .at the back of the Town Hall.. We are greatly interested in the welfare of this Society, and nothing would give us greater pleasure than to hear of its success. In Mr Claude Watson the society has a secretary who- is keenly alive to the responsibilities of the position,, and zealously anxious, to; promote its best interests-.. We have to draw attention to-the ‘ Economic ’’ advertisement appearing, in this issue. The name stands as synonymous with solid value, and Mr May, after his long experience of' the requirements of' the district and his practical knowledge of all branches of the trade, has every confidence in calling- attention to his largely varied and seasonable stock. Mr May assures us that he can supply goods from every department of quality and values which cannot fail to be satisfactory to his customers, who, before purchasing elsewhere, are cordially invited to inspect the splendid assortment on hand. The ‘ Economic- ’ premises are next theISTews Office.
