TE AROHA BRANCH.
This evening a meeting of a highly interesting character takes place in St. Mark’s. Church* in* connection with the l’e Aroha Auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society. The chair is to be taken at 7.30 by the president, Mr W. S-. Allen, M.A., of Annandale, and an able deputation has been formed in the person of tne Rev T. F. Robertson, of St. Stephens’ Presbyterian Church, Ponsonby, who will deliver an address, bearing upon the important and world-wide operations of this Society, whose one undivided aim is the dissemination of the Scriptures throughout the world, and every known language. The meeting will also be addressed by Mr R. Wright, 8.A., of the- Te Aroha Presbyterian Church,, whose father occupies an important post in the Bible House, Queen Victoria Street, the London Headquarters of the Society. The object of the meeting is one that will commend itself to. all, and the proceedings will undoubtedly be instructive and stimulating. A collection will be taken up on behalf of the funds of the Society.
