Cricket Match.

MORRINSVILLE V. ANNANDALE. On Thursday last, the day of the Morrinaville school treat, a cricket match was played between Annandale and Morrinsville, on the Annandale ground Morrinsville won the toss and went in. Their batting was fairly consistent throughout, the only special feature being a score'of twenty by Adams. The Annandale bowling, with the ex ceplion of Mr R. Allen’s performance, was unsuccessful, Mr Mayes being unfortunate in having several catches missed. In batting Annandale was again unsuccessful from the commencement. They appeared indeed to have some chance of victory when Messrs T. and R Allen playe l a good partnership raising the score from five to nineteen. But after the dismissal of Mr S Allen the side collapsed. The Morrinsville bowlingwas consistently good throughout. The following are the scores : iffs** 5 ** . .
