RUSSIA IN THE FAR EAST. Russia is sending ten thousand men to the Far East, two thousand being under orders to leave Russia immediately. The Novoe Vretma reports that negotiations are proceeding b tween the Russian and German Governments with reference to n hiness aff firs and the loan. Shanghai, January h. . The ten thousand men, which it is reported Russia has despatched to tfee Far East, are to be sent to Talienwau and Port Arthur. V Russian Government agents are purchasing a quantity of provisions. The officers in command of the German troops, now in the occupation of Kiaochau, report that the expedition sent to the interor has been well received by the inhabitants.
