Young Mens Society .
It is proposed to make an effort to get •a Young- M 'Vs Society s.larted in Te Aruba. During the evenings there seems to be u thing much to do, and nowhere in particular to go. If there were some room or rooms where those could meet aid talk, i> would b • a great boon. "Whether it is p- asible to arouse enough interest and effort remains to be seen. A Gymnns’um, Debating Society, an-i i .on of innocent recreation would bo a great help to many young men, and besides any other consideration it would help to bring them closer to each other and promote sociability, and maybe ward off the selfishness that iB so apt to grow on an isolated life. An initial meeting of those who are wishful to start such a society will be held this 8 o’clock at the . Rev Hr McFarland's, Whitaker Street.
