Marrow Escape.

A young man named Jame 3 Hilbert Hunter, who resides at Parnell, had a narrow escape from . drowning on Saturday-last. He and some companions were bathing at Brick Bay, when Hunter, who was swimming in deep water, was seized with the cramps and -sank. His companions, young men, named respectively Clarkson, Hunter, and Lowe, immediately went ,to his rescue, and succeeded, but not without cons derable difficulty, in bringing him safely to shore. Hunter was rubbed down briskly and soon recovered, but had it not been for the prompt action of his comrades he would probably have beeu drowned.
