PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

A meeting of the Committee of the Presbyterian Churoh was held in Mr Wallace’s house on last Friday night, when there were present : M essrs Wright (in the- chair), McKenzie, Wallace and Cumming, The principal business was the discussion as to the advisability of erecting a church, and it was considered that enough funds, were on hand to justify estimates being prepared. The Church will be erected on the plans of. the one at Paeroa, which is somewhat larger than any of the churches here- At present it is- on-ly intended to erect the shell (with furniture in the shape- of seats and pulpit, etc.), the lining being ■allowed to stand over till funds will permit of the work being done.
