On Saturday morning the Te Aroha eleven j.ourneyed- to- Paeroa for the purpose of engaging an. eleven com? posed of’Pheroa representatives. Leaving Gallagher’s stables at 11.15. the eleven reached Hotel, where they dined, at 1.30: A.t 2.30 a start was made for the cricket field. All this time not a member of the Paeroa Cricket Club put in, an appearance fact which, we trust, is susceptible of explanation ;• nor was- the- match advertised in any way..
