CRICK’S LATEST MOVE.
Sydney, December 18. Counsel have finished their addresses in tho conspiracy case, and the Judge has begun his summing up. Crick attended tho Assembly tonight and asked permission to make a statement in reference to his trial. It was understood he intended to make a strong attack on the AttorneyGeneral. The Preuiier deprecated the matter being discussed, while the other cases were still sub jndice. Failing to obtain a special day to make a statement Crick announced he would move in the House to-morrow on a question of privilege. Crick intended to move that the re-
tention of office by AttorneyGeneral in the present Ministry was a disgrace to any decent and honest 'Government. He was proceeding to say that he wanted, an opportunity to place before the country undisputed testimony that there 1 had been a personal persecution when the .Premier interposed.
