ARRESTING A LUNATIC

A CONSTABLE SHOT , Dunedin, Sunday. As Constable Paseoe, of Clinton, was arresting a luntic yesterday afternoon, the .man shot constable in the thigh. Coghlan, hotel-keeper, ...jind others, captured the lunatic and placed him in. the lock-up. No particulars ,are to hand'as to whether the coh'stahle’B injury is serious, but it is belie ved it is not. Oohstables from G-ore and Balclutha have been ordered to proceed to. Clutha; : - - - -
