MINING.
AEOHA SYNDICATE. The Aroha Syndicate are still pushing on <sheiir WO rk of testing their properts at the variou? points 'being worked. THE PREMIER In this mine the two levels are being pushed ahead, the upper level is now in a distance of 140 feet, and has been driven along the hanging* wall of the reef. The Tramway level is in about 100 feet on the foot wall, tffe ore is of uniform quality throughout aud is considered payable, but the actual value is not made known. THE NEW FIND/ The winze, which is being sunk in the low level, is now down 48ft. on the reef and prospects are encouraging. - THE COLONIST In this mine some exceptionally good ore has been won. The manager has commenced sinking in the low level near the crosscut, and it is the intention of putting in a low level to work out the block below where the rich patch that was worked out some time ago. THE CA DM AN. The Oadman prospectors are -still driving on Hawkins’ reox, with encouraging prospects.
