A POPULAR ENTERTAINER.

Mr W. Mackenzie, the popular baritone and vocalist, who was here some eighteen months ago with the famous Bessie Doyle Company, is about to pay this district another visit. Though, Mr Mackenzie is a host in himself, and by* his versatile talent is Able to conduct an entertainment single handed ; he is assisted by an efficient company in the production of his programme of music, mirth, dahces, song and story. The members of his company comprise Miss Jessie Glover, vocalist and character artist, whose recent appearance in Auckland has been favorably commented on. Her Scottish items are particularly admired. The programme will be found enclosed with to-day’s issue and promises well for an enjoyable evenings amusement. Master W. F. Mackenzie is highly spoken of for his National dances, which have been received nightly in the Waikato districts with immense applause. Mi-s Louise Alyett, Mr A. Pearson, an i Mr W. J. Hookey also contribute largely towards the programme, and should the weather prove favourable there is little doubt that the company will be greeted by a large and appreciative - audience.
