ACCIDENT TO A MINER.

tbr Monday last a serious accident happened to a miner namo J Mr Walter Farmer, employed on the All Nations Company’s claim, Te Aroha. It appears that Farmer was carrying a heavy loud of tools up the hill-side, when his foot caught the root of a tree and he fell, in trying to proven t the tools falling down the hill to the creek his ankle sustained a compouud fracture and the sinews of the foot were strained and disarranged. Dr Cooper at once attended to the injured man, whom we are pleased to hear is progressing favourably. '
