THE LICENSING QUESTION.
At a large meeting of the New Zealand Alliance Executive, held in Wellington .the other evening/the following resolution was unanimously passed -—“That in the opinion of the Executive of the New Zealand Alliance, the action of the Legislative Council in respect to the Alcoholic Liquors Sales Control Amendment Act has shown an utterly unreasonable and unj ustifiable disregard of public opinion.’'’
