The second .cdfiCert ini aid of the library funds was given on Friday evening, andjwas.au unqualified success, the school-room being packed with an appreciate audience. Murray, who lent Chinese lanterns, etc., foi decorating the room, and gave material hplp in the rehearsals, etc. Mrs Murray’s singing as is always the case here, was much appreciated, "and 1 she received a niost enthusiastic reception every time she appeared on the stage. And to Mr Mclndoe who kindly camo from Te Aroha to help us. Mesdam'es Selby* Hunter and Murray kindly played tho accompaniments. to the length of the programme (30 items) encores were not allowed.
