REV W.L. SALTER’S MISSION
The Wesleyahs of the Upper Thames Circuit will terminate to-morrow evening a fairly 'successful evangelistic mission" conducted by the Rev. Mr Salter, of Gisborne. The services, which have been held each evening since September Bth, commenced at Waihi, then at Te Aroha, latterly at Morrinsville, and are concluding at Paeroa. The attendance at each of these places has been good, and much spirital blessing has resulted. Mr Salter is an evangelist of repute amongst the Wosieyans although stationed in a circuit. His utterances were clear, pronounced {eloquent and fervid, and the meetings were spiritual (always. Members of all denominations who have these meetings speak in praise of the work done. It is only to be regretted that the Rev Mr Joughin, the circuit minister, has been absent throughout, by reason of Mrs. Joughin’s serious illness in the North.
