WILFUL POISONING. GOVERNMENT REWARD OFFERED. Brisbane, July 24. A telegram from Barealdine says the man named Thomas, poisoned t Bowen Downs, died in frightful agony. The Govermeut offer a reward of £2OOO for information that will lead to the conviction of the perpetrators of the crime, and the owners of the station supplement the amount with £SOO. A post mortem reveals the presence of poison in Thomas’s stomach. From Hughendon comes word that j a shearer died suddenly, and that numbers of others are ill. A posse of police has been despatched.
