Dunedin, Friday. AT the hieetirig Of the National Dairy it was resolved :—“ Tiutt the jGtoverfiment be asked to yeduce the railway freights on dairy produce to grain rates for butter and cheese for export;’* . . . - ' .Another resolution dealt with the absolute necessity for every legitimate saving being made, and it was resolved that; should the Government be unsuc-cessful-in their negotiations with the shipping Companies they should consider the question of either subsiding, a line of steamers or establishing a line of their own: -
