I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct a Water-iace to divert and use water for mining purposes, commonspoint with a peg marked A on the Wairaku Creek and terminating at - \ point with apeg marked A at the eastern side of the Waiorongomai battery. The length of such race is about six miles or thereabouts, and its. intended oourse is in a northerly direction. The mean depth of such race is three feet Bix inches, and the mean breadth is four feet six inches, and it is proposed to divert fifteen Government heads of water.
