Paeroa railway line almost completed. Te Aroha to the fore as a health resort. Still another excursion train from Auckland on Saturday next.
Mr A. W. Edwards still continues his genuine clearing sale. New baker will start in Te Aroha Saturday next.
Mr A. H. Elkin, dentist, is at present on a visit to Te Aroha.
The bullion from the Waihi and Cassel Company’s last monthly cleaning has been fofwarded to Auckland for exportation to England. Another successful railway excursion to Te Aroha eventuated on Saturday last. Mr John Fuller and his Auokland Concert Company are at-present touring the Waikato. *

The contractors for re-forming Bridge Street have numerous; complaints agamst the local Works Committee. ; The Cepe Government proposes to put a duty on frozen meat, the imports from the Australian colonies causing the farmers alarm. . / 1
