The coal oxport from Groymouth last week was 3333 ton 3, and the timber export 203,010 foot., •’ The Chrstchurch Charitable Aid Board are appointing a female inspector at a salary of £SO per annum. A line of lambs, numbering nearly 200 was purchased by a Palmerston North resident at the sale yards the other day at 6d a head. . In 1893 fourteen thousand acres of new land were sown in grass in the Pahiatua County. Last year the increase was seven thousand six hundred acres.
