The above races took place on Mr N. Dickby’s eoufise bn Saturday last, and there must’ have been close on 1000 persons present to witness the contest. •Ml tlfe districts hrofind -Paeroa were, well represented, while quite a number were presontTrom the Thames and'Te Aroha.
