At Fleming arid Co.’a weekly sale of fatcattle which was held on the I3th inst., at their yards, Parawai, Thames, they report: Good, steer beef gold from £? 7s 6d to £& 2s 6d, being equal to'l9s per lOOlbs; and cow beef, £S to £5 I7s, fid, being equal to 18s per lOOlbs. A full complement of sheep and lambs were penned, and gold as follows; Wethers, 10s. ewes, 9s 6d j jambs, 7s 6fi to 8s 3d each.

GRASS SEEDS. —In view of autumn improvements there is snino activity in the seed market, and and a good many parcels have been parsed into merchants hands. The quality of this season's cocksfoot and rye grass is, on the whole, very good. Fair to good samples of cocksfoot run from 4£d to 5d lb, prime up 1° Southern ryegrass from 4s to 5s ; Poverty Bay from 5s 6d to 7s, according to quality. .8 Gr.\ rkh Johnson, Manager.
