The following are inquired for in “ Lloyd’s Weekly London Newspaper ” : George Boutwell in 1874 was leaving Wairoa, Auckland, for Christchurch, New Zealand; sister Julia. Frederick Satchell Clarke, last heard of in 1877, at Napier, New Zealand, is sought by his father. Eliza Crouch (nee Bennewibh) went from the East India Docks to New Zealand, March 4th, 1874 ; sister (Mrs Pain) has not heard of her for twelve years. John Dayton, last heard of at Ashburton, Canterbury, New Zealand, on October lOlb, 1879, i« inquired for by Lie aged mother. Andrew Francis Jackson, bricklayer, went from Darlington to New Zealand in 1879, and live years later was living in Etterick-street, Invercargill; his mother inquires. Airs James King (nee Parsons) sailed in tho Renfrewshire for New Zealand in 1878, and in 1882 wrote from Patna, Napier, Hawke’s Bay ; brother Henry. Sophia Laurance, of Gravesend, went with her husband to New Zealand, on February 17, 1873 ; her mother seeks newe. Thomas Mathieeon, of Scotland, was last heard from in 1572, with John Kirkwood, Elm Grove, East Priory, Otago, New Zealand. Brother James.
Mrs William Mills (nee Matilda Perron), of Auckland, New Zealand, is inqui ed for by hor sister Mabha. William DeMutb, of Ipswich, in 1863-4 was near Christchurch, New Zealand; sister Sarah.
Mrs Jane Perreau (nee Almond) in November, 1887, was at Palmerston, New Zealund. Her aged parents and sister Alice are anxious.
Herbert B. and Thomas Williams aro sought by their father. Herbert was last heard of at the “Press” Office, Christchurch, New Zealand, and Thomas was a waiter at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, Hawke’s Bay. William Burry, of Muir Head, Scotland, on January 29th, 1865, wro(e from Drury, Auckland, New Zealand ; sister Jane.
James Geoffrey, of Hackney, was last heard of at Grahamstown, New Zealand, in 1875: sister Jessie.
Naney Poolcy and Susan Turner are sought by their brother George. They lift Cornwall for New Zealand about 14 years ago and have not been heard of since.
Elizabeth Potman, of Hackney, last heard from in 18S6 at Christchurch, New Zealand, is sought by her mother. James Sharp emigrated to New Zealand in 1872; his aged mother longs to hear of him.
John Smith, mason of Brad ford-on-Avon, sailed for Australia 33 years since, and when last heard of in 1874 was a carter at Caversham, Dunedin, Otago, Now Zealand ; brother William.
Margaret Thompson left Beddingfieldstreot, Stratford, in January, 1876, and went to the Depot at Christchurch, New Zealand ; si.-ter Louisa.
Albeit Vnller, last heard of in 1857 in Auckland, New Zealand, is sought by his mother.
Hayter Ward ley, compositor, left Jersey, Channel inlands, 15 or 16 years ago. He was last seen at Christchurch, New Zealand. His brother George asks, Thomas Bourne sailed in the Helen Denny for New Zealand on. June 6th, 1874, nnd in 1876 was heard of on his way to Fiji. His mother desires information. Joseph Elliott on Alay 12th, 1869, left the London Docks for Now Zealand and proceeded up country. Sister Sarah. Thomas Hill sailed in cho Forfarshire in November 15th, 1872, for New Zealand, ami dated bis last* letter August 15th, 1873, from Oamoru (qy. Oamaru). His parents wish to hear of him. James Jeffery, of Hackney, was last heard of at Grahamstown, New Zealand, in 1875; sister Jesric. Edward Johnson, of Cardiff, eailed for New Zealand in 1857-8, and 22 years ago had left the sth Company to go up country ; sister Alaria. Andrew Lock went to New Zealand 18 years since, and worked at some gold-dig-gings ; is sought by his mother-. Charles Love, of Stratford, sailed from England in the \\ innington, and last wrote in 1875, from Mastcrtcn, Now Zealand; his mother asks for news.
George Morter, of Mundsley, emigrated to New Zealand about 30 years ago ; sister asks.
Elizabeth I'abtman, of Hackney, last heard of in 1886 in Christchurch, New Zealand, is sought by her mother. Charles Norris I’otiltney went from Leicestershire in 1863 to Australia, and is now believed to have settled at Nelson, New Zealand. Sister Adelaide. Harriot llobbio was last heard of at New Plymouth, New Zealand, in 1883. Sister Martha.
James Strange went to New Zeu!and in 1874. Sister Emma.
James and Sarah Terry leftthe neighbourhood of Maidstone during September 1872, and are believed to have settled at Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand. Brother Stephen. Thomas Boik, of l’oplar, went to Now Zealand in 1879, and last wrote from Wellington ; brother Joe. Charles Butler, when last hoard of three years ago, desired his letters to be addressed to tbo ‘‘Masuol Hotel,” Gisborno, Now Zealand ; sister Elizabeth.
Henry A. Davis, in 1874, sailed in the Duke of Wellington to work a condensing machine and has not bcon heard of since. He arrived at Canterbury', New Zealand; brother asks. James ITickey left the West Inda Dock December 28th, 1887, for Sydney, and thence went to New Zealand ; Aunt Mary Bowen inquires. Charles Myall, a baker, whoso last letter was received in 1880 from Waikara, New Zealand, is sought by I D aged parents.
Alfred Hammond Pitt arrived at Canterbury, New Zealand, in February, 1886, per the Oi lent; his father writes.
Mrs Poole went to New Zenland about 14 years ago ; sister asks. Tho following appeared in the issue of May 4*‘h, 1890 :—“ Our best thanks aro duo to Mr Jo.-eph Stacey, of Auckland, New Zealand, for the trouble he has taken in replying to the request for nows of Robert Hale (January 26th), who had not been heard of by his brother Henry for 21 years. Mr R. Haig, it seems, died in Parnell, New Zealand, nine years ago, and in forwarding full details for the brother’s behoof, Mr Stacey has onclosed with his letter a photograph of decoased’s tombstone, as erect-cd in the Symonds-streefc Cemetery, at Auckland. We must also thank the Evening Star of Auckland, which fir?t atirncted Mr Stacey’s notice by reprinting this inquiry.”
