DELEGATES AT A SMOKE CONCERT.
The railway delegates were entertained at a smoke concert last night. Mr Taylor, M.H.R. tor Svdenham, in responding to the toast of the House of Representatives, said he had been informed that the Railway Commissioners intended to ask Parliament to vote sufficient money' by which to increase tho wages of the railway people. Mr Hoban, President of tho Society,, remarked that the delegates were recoived with fc’ie utmost courtesy by the Commissioners. mwna— 1 rara
