I hear Tom Sullivan, champion amateur sculler of New Zealand, and an Auckland boy, has resigned his position in the Wellington Torpedo Corps, having been sent for by Neil Matterson, who will train him with a view to professional rowing in Sydney. The good wishes of all New Zealanders, and especially of Aucklanders, will go with Tom. He has been wonderfully successful in this colony.
