The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Go.’a commercial cable message dated London, June 6th, says:—Tallow is ready of sale, Fine mutton tallow is worth 263 6d per cwt. Good beef tallow 25s per cwt. New Zealand hemp t Market dull; stocks are accumulating, Medium worth £l9 per ton. Frozen meat: Mutton market firm. Canterbury mutton is worth 4|d per lb ; Wellington ditto, 4Jd, Lamb: Market firm. Canterbury lamb is worth 6d per lb. Beef: Market sluggish. New Zealand beef, forequarters worth 3d ; hindquarters, 3gd per lb. Coolie labour is still employed very largely in Fiji. The ship Rhone, with 587 coolies on board from Calcutta, reached Suva on May 15th. The vessel made a successful trip and having landed her living freight started on Mav 20tb on her return to India. a. - '
