GOLD AT PUHIPUHI.
THE DISCOVERY VERIFIED. Kamo, May 9. The gold find at Puhipuhi is verified. Fresh samples of stone from the Tupone claim, Puhipuhi, show gold plainly if crushed and panned ofi'. The ore is almost, as black as coal. A ton of the stuff is to be sent to Fraser’s for treatment at once. The stuff is claimed to be very rich in silver chloride also.
