The Government have accepted Messrs Malcolm and Price’s tender (£3000) for the erection of the new buildings at the Rotorua Sanatorium, to replace those destroyed by fire some time ago. In the orginnl specifications there was a good deal of oonciete work in the foundations. This has been replaced by totara, which will be used in all parts of the building which come in contact with the earth. The building will be of wood, kauri limu being used.
