Strong support is offered to the strikers by other trade organisations, and the matter is assuming serious dimensions. SYDNEY STOCK RETURNS. Sydney, May 7. The stock returns for the year are as follows :—Horses, 430,000, being an increase of 19,000 on last year’s returns. Cattle, 1,741,000, an increase of 118,000. Sheep, 50,103,000, or an increase of 3,603,000.
