Messrs. A. Buckland and Son’s Weekly Report.—At the hide and skin sale, on Tuesdey, ox hides ranged from 3d to4fd; cow liides, I|d to l|d tlm lb ; sheep skins, 2s to 4< 6d each ; rough fat, lfd ; wool, 6/1 to 7/1 the lb. At Remuera, on Thursday 7 , dairy cattle were in better enquiry than last week. Pi ices for good cows at profit were from L 3 10s to L 5 10s each. Store cattle in forward condition were in demand at full values ; but grow= ing cattle were no better worth. Good yearling steers at 20s ; 18-months-olds, 35s each /• A full' market of fat cattle kept last week’s values. Steers, from 16s to 17s ; cnvs, 12s to 14s the lOOlbs. Store sheep were in request, but few offered. Fat sheep lower about Is each. Wethers were at 2/1 $ ewes, 2d to the lb. Pigs, numerous, were in fair enquiry. Fat calves, abundant, lower in price than for several weeks. Messrs-Stone Brothers’ Report,—Souths am feed oats, 2s 2d ; black, 2s Id; Danish, 2s ; local, Is lid ; dun oats, 2s 2d ; fowl wh°at, 2s" lid ; feed barley 7,2 s odq maize, 3s 7d ; crushed 3s 7d ; chaff, best oaten, 00s, mixed, 70s, bright straw (good) 50s. Flour : By croft’s first quality, L 9 10s ; superfine, L 9 ; Golden Gem, 810 ■ Diamond Dust, L 9 10s . Oatmeal, £lO ; bran, L 4 ; sharps, L 4 10s ; Soutliern hams and bacon, B|d ; local hams and bacon, 7d ; vinegar, is 6d per gallon.- Tea: Boxes, 1 5s half-chests, Is 6d per lb ; lialf-chest, Indian, 2s per lb. Bone', dust: Auckland Tallow Company’s £7 10s; Bnncorn £7 10s ; Sydney J. 1., LQ , IQs ; Ipswich, L 7 '; S. and G. pure, L 7 ; “Farmers’ Friend,” £6. Hobart palings, 15s per 100 ; Manilla rope, 8d and 9,d ; Europe, Flax rope, Cd ; corn sacks. 46 by 2G/ 7s per dozen ; Byoroft’s biscuits, 4d to lOd ; currants, 5d ; poliutukuwa felloes (all sizes), lOd ;- red gum felloes, from Sby 2£ up to sby 4,72 s 6d(risc of ss)- ironbark shafts, 40s per 100; iron hark shafts (10 feet), 10s per pair ; kerosene (Light of the Age brand), Is !H1 per gallon ; colxa oi', 3s Gd ; clothes lines, Nos. 1,2, 3, from 3s Gd to 8s Gd ; blue gum/assorted sixesj, 20s per 100 feet.
