( The places vacated in the Chokebore .Lodge (Christchurch) stables within the past few months, are being filled again. Cutts has. received three additions to his string, in the shape of two yearlings, a colt and filly, by Stonyhurst, the property cf Mr Clifford, from Wai and Wainui respectively, and a filly by Louis d’Or from Regina, the property of Mr Murphy. The Australian Jockey Club Sires’ Produce Stakes, 1892, has closed with 54 subscribers. Nordenfeldt is responsible for 20; Robinson Crusoe, 9; First King, 7 ; Chester, 7; St. Leger, 6; Martini-Henry, 3; and Sardonyx and Trenton, 1 each. The nominators include Hon. J. White, W. R. Wilson, T. Morrin, and the New Zealand Stud Company.
