THAMES CATTLE MARKET.

At Fleming and Co.’s weekly sale of fat cattle which waa held on the 30th ult., at their yards, Parawai, Thames, They report ; A full market wore3’arded, prices being a little higher than last week’s quotations. A few pens of steers were withdrawn on account of the prices offered not being lip to the sellers expectations, tlmse sold relized from L 5 10s to L 5 15s each ; bring equal to from 18* to 19s per 1001 bs ; heifers sold at from L3ssto L 3 17s 6d each, being equal to fronf 14s 6d to 15s 6d per 1001 bs ; Cows sold at from L 3 10s to L 4 15s each, being equal to from 13s 6d to 14s 6d per lOOlbs. Full market of sheep were penned, being principally ewes, and sold at from 10s Qd to 12a 6d eaeh. Chaff (oaten), L 3 17b per ton.
AUCKLAND MARKETS.
Messrs. A. Buekland and Son’s Weekly Report.—At the hide and skin Bale, on Tuesday, picked ox hides brought up to 4§d ; good ordinary ox, 3£d to 4d ; light ox, 2d to 2£d ; cow hides, l£d to 2£d ; calfskins, 3d to 4£d the lb ; tallow, I7sthe owt: loose fat, lsd the lb. Wool sold better than of late, aud brought from 6|d to 7fd tiie lb ; pelts, Is Jld to 4s lOdJ; lambskins, 2s lid to 2s 6d each. At Remuera on Thursday dairy cattle, yarded in.’full numbers, were dull of sale ; Those of choice quantity and at their profit, were the only ones competed for. Prices ranged from L2 to L 5 each. Store cattle advertised were not forwarded. Fat cattle in full numbers were, at beginning of sale, higher than last week, hut fell as the sale proceeded. Prices ranged from Iss to I7s the lOOlh. Fat sheep, in average supply, were steady at last week’s values Lambs, in limited number, ulao kept their price, Fat calves sold well, and a full market of fat pigs met with a satisfactory sale, but ill-conditioned store pigs were low in price. Averages of steers ranged from L 5 lls to L74s ; ewes ranged from 9s 6d to I3s ; wethers, I3s to I7s ; lambs in their wool, 10s to 13s each ; porkers, 15s to 25s each ; heas'y pigs, from 40s to 68s and weaners from 4s to I9s each
