Christchurch, April 26, A special meeting of the University Senate was held at Christchurch yesterday to consider the reports of the examiners in the examination for degrees, honours, and senior scholarships. The meeting would have taken place earlier, bub the forwarding of the report from England was delayed by the serious illness of one of the examiners. m.a. degree. Third Class.-—H. Shrewsbury, Auckland, in geology; E. M. Adams, Auckland, in Latin and French ; G. M. Sinclair, Auckland, in Latin and English; R. G. Whitter, Otago, physical science; T. H.
