ANGLICAN SYNOD MEETING. Wellington, April 23. The Bishops of Auckland, Waiapu and Nelson are here, and the Bishop of Dunedin is arriving this afternoon. The meeting of Bishops takes placo this afternoon to devise a course of action. It is generally considered that Bishop Suter will not give way, but will stand for election. If so, it is probable that the lay vote will ensure his return. Tho Synod meets at 7.30 to-night fer the president’s address and the appointment of secretaries. The election of Primate and the confirmation of Archdeacon Julius take place tomorrow afternoon and evening.
