Buerrc Diels have realised from Id to 31, other poor cooking and inferior lots, Ad to :]d; passion fruit, scarce, at 2id to 3d per dozen; quinces, scarce, at Id. Demons : Moderate supply at 7d to Is per dozen. Island oranges, glutted, at 4d to 6d per dozen; tomatoes, R 1 to lid ; desiccated cocoanut, 8d ; chips. 7Ad ; boiled lolli- s, 41d, —others, 5d to 5Jd. In the poultry department there was a full supply. Prices ruled higher than last week. Good table fowls. Is 5d to Is 10d,— medium, Is 3d toll 4d,—inferior, Is to Is Id ; roosters, young, in condition, ls9d to 2s 2d each, —poor, Is 2d to Is 6d ; ducks, Is Id to 2s: gees \ 2s 3d to 3s 4d; turkeys, 2s 5d to 4s 2d; pure-bred fowls. 2s 6d to 8s each; pigeons, 3d to 6<l; canaries, 2s 6d to 6s each. Pigs : Large supply at 4s 3d to 10s 6d; suckers, 23 6d to 3s 3d.

Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons report that at their Waiuku sale on Satur lay last, there was a small muster of cattle, and scarcely the usual attendance; prices ruled low. At Remuera on Thursday, consequent on the heavy weather, stock of all kinds were in short supply; with dairy and store cattle. there was no change in values, but fat stock advanced in price considerably. Fat steers reached 20s and cows 16s the looib, and for sheep 3UI was the ruling price. Calves and pigs remained at late values, but lambs shared in llie advance obtained for sheep.

Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Report.—Horse feed: Grain, in limited quantities, sold privately, but there was no sale by auction. We quote oats, 2s 4d to 2s 6d per bushel; bran. £4 10s; chaff, £3 15s per ton; cocksfoot grass, 7s 6d; rye, 7s 6d per bushel. Ho 'scs : In consequence of the holidays there was no sale by auction, and very few were disposed of privately, but there lias existed a demand for all sorts of a good stamp at fully lore quotations. Wool, hides, and and skins: the auction sales were also pcs' poned,but there exist a strong demand for really heavy hides, arid skins are also much wanted. Cattle: Ihe supply has been small, but the demand brisk for dairy and store stoc.v at late quotations, and an advance has been given for fat beasts. The auction sale at Newmarket was held on Wednesday, and notwithstanding the inclement state of the weather, there was a moderate muster, which mot spirited competition throughout the sales, and fat stock advanced from 10s to £1 per head, ranging from 15s to 20s per 1001 b, but no heavy weights were yarded. Some averages of steers were £7 10s. £7 7s 6d, £6 16s, £6, £5 7s 6d, £5 2s 6d ; cows £4 10s, £4 2s 6d, £3 ss, £3. Sheep were short of requirements at Newmarket on Wednesday, and were eagerly competed, for; wethers, at from 15 1 to £l7s 9d ; ewes, 7s 9d to 15s. Pigs in moderate numbers; prices were in favour of the vendor, ranging from 2|d to 3d per lb live weight.
