; The Wanganui Jockey Club have reconsidered their decision to abolish Derbys from their future programmes. New con-; ditions have been issued. The owner of the second horse is to receive 50sovs, while a further change is to be made in that the “blue riband ” is to be run for at the Spring Meeting of the Club instead of the Autumn. The first race to be run under the new conditioris is fixed to come off in November, 1891. As the Club have alreadj received entries for the Derby to be run at their Autumn Meeting of 1891, they will enjoy the uncommon experience of having two Derbys* run under their auspices in one yean ■ • - .
