GERMAN SOCIALISTS.
EXILED FOR ASSAULTING THE EMPEROR. Socialist Beckmann has been again expelled from the German Empire, this time for insulting the Kaiser. He only lately returned from New York, having escaped there in IS7B when sentenced to imprisonment. He was amnestied on the accession of the late Emperor Frederick. Several socialists have been sentenced to prison in Berlin and Breslau for attempting to boycott restaurants and saloons which declined to permit socialists to meet on their premises.
