At Fleming & Go’s weekly sale of fat cattle, which was held on the J9th inst., at their yards, Purawai, Thames, they report: Prices were a little higher than last week’s quotations, on account of a limited number being yarded. Steers sold at from L 4 10s to L 4 17s 6d each, being equal to from 13s 6d to 14s 0d per 1001 b. Heifers sold at from L2 7s Gd to L 3 each, being equal to 12s to I3s per 1001 b. Cows sold at from L2 7s Gd to L 4 lss each, being equal to Ils 6d to 12s 6d per lOOlh. Sheep market : A full supply were penned, and sold as follows: Wethers, 11s to 13s 6d each ; lambs (shorn), 7s 3d to 8s 3d each, There is a good demand for young springers mar calving, AUCKLAND MARKETS.
