[to the editor.] Sir, —T am instructed by the Directors of the Te Aroha Public Hall and Rending Room Company, Limited, to forward to you for publication the following resolutions, viz ; —l, Copy of resolution passed at the annual adjourned meeting of shareholders on I3th February, 1890: “Resolved that Mr James Lavery’s name he placed upon the Roll as Chairman of Directors for Company, in placeof the late Chairman, Mr R. Harris," Proposed by MrR. Harris, seconded by Mr F. Pavitt, and carried unanimously. 2. Copy of a resolution passed at a special meeting of the Directors, held on 10th inst. “ Resolved that a letter be sent to tin. Te Aroiia and Oiiinemuri News, together with resolution (as above) passed at the annual meeting of shareholders, held on 13th February, 1890, and expressing the astonishment of the Directors at Mr Pavitt’s conduct in opposing Mr La very's name being placed upon the Roll (on 3rd inst at Assessment Court) he (Mr Pavitt) being the seconder of the resolution.”—l am, etc., Robt. llarri-’.
