A NEW CREED WANTED. Sydney, March 5. The Rev. Clouston, of Penrith, has been elected Moderator of the Presbyterian Assembly of New South Wales. The new Moderator, in an able address, expressed the opinion that the time had come when they should revise the doctrinal standards of the Church. He said that since the Westminster Confession of Faith had been compiled tha world had moved on, and required to-day to be lighted with a weapon more adapted to existing circmn.tances. In conclusion, the reverend gentleman urged the formulation of a creed suite I to the present day. The speechcaused some surprise.
