The Dunedin Exhibition C'*st, all round about L 40,000 up to tlm opening day. In the building have been used three nrllion feet of New Zealand timber, principally red pine, over 60,000 f- of glass, 20 tons and more of n.iiis, over 1,51)0 casks of cement, 80 tons of wrought iron, between two and three hundred thousand bricks, from fifteen to twenty tons of lead, and 60,000 sheets of galvanised iron, weighing over 000 tons. The Executive are lighting the building throughout with 10,000 coloured as lights.
