THAMES CATTLE MARKET.
At Fleqilng & Co’s? weekly sale of fat cuttle, which was held on the 19th inst., at ( eir yftrds, Bii'rawai, Thames, they report: A full market \yefe' yarded, and all sold, freely with the exception Of one pen of heifers which changed hands after the sale, Store beef was a trifle higher than last week’s quotations, 'selling at from p 3 12s (id to 1,4 6 1 each, beiqg equal to from lls9d to 12s Gd per lOp fh. Heifers sold nt ff un L2 2s Gd to 1/2 its 6d each, being equal to 10s to 11s per 100 lb. Cows sold jit h-oin L2 to 1.4 each., being equal to 9s Gd to 10s Gd per 100 lb. Bliocp market. Kqlj| complement were penned, and sold as follows: 'tV'etho'v.s, l(s Gd (o' 13s each ; fat ewes, lls to 12* Gd each iambs, Gs to 7s ea< h. Jowls, 2s lOd per pair. Apply LAND MARKETS. Messrs A. Buckfand and Son’s Weekly Report: —There has been no hide and shin pile this week, consequent on the death of Mr George Ireland. At Bunuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle near calving were plentiful.’ Bidding was slow, and many ivere passed. Those solfi hrouglit from P3ssto L 4 5s each. Store cattle, particularly qijjet'cows in better demand. Fat cattle in usual number. Steers were In tter worth 5s each, but cows at late values. Calves, shop of requirqiepts ; price in late favour of the seller. Sheep, in' moderate supply, at late values; Twotoolh wethers, fos ; four-toothed, llsGd each.
