The Intercolonial cricket match wa resumed this morning, when Wellington went to the wickets for their second innings, Moorhouse and R. Blacklock facing the bowling of McClinehy and Cottam. The former was soon disposed of by McClinehy, and Cross joined Blacklock, the partnership totting up 18 before dissolved by the latters dismissal by Cottam. Fuller tilled the gap, and runs came quickly until McClinehy beat Cross with a fast one. 42—3—23. Taylor was the incomer, and 60 appeared on the board before be was caught at the wickets. Roberts went in next, but after making 3, met with the same fate as his predecessor. Frith filled the vacancy, and during the partnership between him and Fuller lie gave the field some hunting. The score rapidly mounted up in spite of a change of bowling, and the century soon appealed on the board. Just before luncheon, Frith fell a victim to one from McClinehy, the score standing at 108 for 6 wickets.
