BURNT TO DEATH.

A rjRE, attended with fatal results, out in a five-stalled stable at Dunedin at 3.30 yesterday morning. The fire had a good hold when discovered. After it was extinguished examination showed the charred remains of a human being. It appears that a man, Alexander Johnston, was seen about the place at midnight. He has, not been seen since, and it seems almost certain he perished in the five, caused probably by bis own carelessness.
